The bov on my car has a top that you can twist to adjust the tension of the spring inside on the piston, does anyone know what this does? I guess its just to make the car blow off easier Im worried if I adjust it when it blows of fit will just shoot the top right off. Btw its a atmo bov

it should have a marking the max you can turn it out. softening the spring will cause it to open more.
