Sounds more like a tune issue to me. Check tiuming, in particular timing when under boost. This is where your damage will be occuring.

Are the headbolts on the i6 TTY? If so, I hope you are not re-using them....

What bolts are you using, and what torque procedure are you following?

The head bolts are TTY, i had a ACL copper gasket and it didnt last more than 100k's, i even started it got it warm, then retorqed it with new bolts!!
When i pulled it back out the whole gasket was totally deformed! havent taken it to ACL yet but next time rep c*m's in ill see wat he says. put the au gasket in now problems at all now.

no sealant required with an AU MLS gasket...

as ebxr380 said, you MUST have o'ring head or block to use a copper gasket, also, you must use some hylomar salant, and u must use new bolts (in a 6 anyway) and you must heat it up and let it cool then re-torque the bolts.

and a copper gasket can be re-used, you need to anneal the copper to re-soften it then you can re-use it...

obviously you have a major tuning problem with number 6 cyclinder... i have two AU MLS gaskets, with a 1.5mm head shim in between.... and im still holding 16.5psi, 350rwkw with absolutely no head gasket problems.... thats nearly 3mm worth of headgasket

It ran really good with this tune for a couple of days when i first used the race series gasket, looking at the bottom of the head it looks like all the pots are burning properly and even. how can just 1cyl be playing up if it'sthe tune?
