This is good advice
also a note that plugs are only to be tightened up not swung off with a torque wrench

If you have it under control then you dont have enough power..
There is no replacement for Displacment..

Dropped my car at the local Ford dealer for a plug change, as it's a 3V I'd read enough to know it was not worth doing myself (170,000 k), half hour later the dealer called and said there was a 70% chance plugs would not come out in one piece and heads would have to come off, he seemed relieved when I said I'd pick it up without the work being done.

There's a good YouTube of the process to extract the electrode outer tube when it's left behind. I'll need to find a workshop that has the extraction tool before I try again.

geez was it that long ago i had this car. lol

for all you guys info, i changed the plugs my self and they all came out easy as pie.

basically i started the car and let it run for a couple minuts then shut it down before it was too hot to work on.
then off the coils and filled each spark plug hole with wd-40.

left it for 5 to 10 mins then with a breaker bar and the correct socket it turned the plugs 1/4 turn tighter to break any corrosion then backed them off a turn or two.

then re- filled with more wd-40.

another 10 mins later then wound them out.

also done a mates 3V the same way and 100% success on both.

Your lucky, the second last plug on mine snapped. I bought the tool to remove it and the broken plug came out, a but a small bit of porcelain fell in and sat right at the edge of the cylinder, so I pulled the heads off to be on the safe side and now have it all back together and it wont start. Turns over but dosen't fire.
