G'day guys and gals, Just wondering if anyone knows how I can bypass the BEM on a AUIII V8... I have everything up to and including the PCM but would rather not use the BEM or ignition...

You'd have to get an SCT flash tune to turn off smartshield. Otherwise you will have to use the BEM and the key.

Thanks Pete, I had a look at the flash tune but the 5.0L Is not listed in the "supported models" section :S I've since bought a BEM and ignition, and have followed all the steps in the workshop manual (including leaving ignition on for 61 minutes), but I still can't get the PCM to accep the new BEM....
Ideas anyone?
