G`day all, Prob already been covered else where on forum, however, does anyone know whether a bullbar off a 96 longreach ute will fit on a 94 longreach ute. Hope someone can advise

should do i cant see why not ive just taken a nudge bar from a 94 ed non abs and put it to a 93 eb with abs.

some one should be able to confirm this better.

Just a thought, are they both xg's with the falt front as didn't xh's or atleast the xh body comeout in 96 sometime?

or would it still mount up the same?

The mounts are different from XG to XH. I was assuming (as the XH was released in 94) that the earlier vehicle was an XH. The XG mounts on the outside of the chassis using 3 bolts (same as an XF) The XH, on the other hand, mounts on a flat facia style plate but also has (on a good bar) a 10mm steel plate that extends right down into the chassis rails and has a bolt that runs through it to make it much stiffer.

Thanks Guy`s, It wont fit as It`s off an XH (96) and mines an XG (94) bugger!!!!

The shape is right, it's just the mounts that are different. If you want you can fabricate mounts. Going from XH to XG is easy....the other way is a bit more involved......
