Hi guys,

Was just at one of those coin operated car cleaning places - I wanted to know if anyone has used that engine cleaning thing? You apparently squirt water into your engine?? I didn't try it on the XD Fairmont incase it wasn't safe - anyone tried it or know if it could cause harm??

Thx

Don't know if that would go down too well with many car washes recycling water. I would check with the operator first.

I squirt my engine bay just about everytime im at the carwash, just with the soap high presure. Never harmed my engine. I stick the shamie in the snorkle aswell.

the only problem going to them to wash your engine bay is its hot when you get there you should let it cool down first. you are better off doing it at home just incase it wont start.
