hi

I have a problem with the fuel gauge on my xe ute.

The fuel gauge reads at full all the time, as soon as the ignition is turned on, it reads full!

I assume that it is most likely to e a problem with the fuel tank sender unit. Is this a fair guess?

Is it difficult to replace?

I have already removed the tray panel, and i can see the top of the tank, but cant see how it comes out....

Suggestions?

ok, i just unplugged the cable from the top of the sender, and turned on the ignition, and the gauge read empty, so this to me says that the sender is faulty.

Can they be repaired?

just replace the sender..... less hassles than trying to get one repaired
