Get some relays for the lights the switch cannot cope with the load

i'd say the relay is on its way out......
are you running higher wattage bulbs?

Hey thanks for those suggestions, as far as i know the bulbs are standard, where would one locate the relay? and what does it look like?

I'd say its more likely the headlight curcuit breaker failing and then reseting itself. It should be located in the fuse box.

Yeah I think your right I was thinking of xw where the light switch has the circuit breaker built in and it always cuts out especially if you use halogen globes

Cool thanks for that....my next problem is that all the labels on and around the fuse box are worn off so I dont know which relay or fuse or circuit breaker does what. Also is there a better way to take out those horrible glass fuses? I keep breaking them.

there should be 1 or 2 metal cased circuit breakers running between the 2 banks of fuses
as for the fuses, pull them out with a small hook under one end, dont do it in the middle

i think interceptor is right, there should be a metal-cased fuse in the fuse box.
the xd's are prone to wearing out the headlight switch on the dash.

Ok thanks very much for the help guys, I have another request if anyone could help.
Does anyone have a picture or a drawing of the layout of the fusebox and relay/circuit breaker box? The names of what the fuses and relays and breakers have all faded as have the ratings so I do not know what fuses to put where. XD falcon by the way |
