Hi,
Just got my father in laws xr6 xh ute for $2500, not in bad condition.
after some ideas for mods, no turbos or v8's though.
what do you think?

exhaust, cold air intake, stereo if your into that

It has a pod filter, which I just changed.
I don't know if I want a full body kit or not, side skirts and rear 1/4's, does anyone have photos of a ute with full body kit?
will be looking at new paint in orange i think.
and some mags, does anyone have any photos of some deep dish mags that are either black or red in the centre?

my bad, they only have the xr one's but you can get the rear bar and skirts of an XF/XG

It is auto, got a reco from an ef not long ago, would like to change to a manual later.

Thanks mate they have some great stuff, I like the look of the BF Typhoon front bar, will have to chop it onto my ute to see how it looks.

Good value @ $2500.
Cam, extractors, exhaust. Will liven it up a bit and give it a nice note, manual conversion or 3.9/4.11 diff gears for the auto.
Lower it, springs up front, reset the leaf sprung rear end and/or add lowering blocks.
Tint, rims.

Good starting point there IMO.

Get a low km AU engine and do a conversion and then do the exhaust and so on

id stick with that motor mate if the kms are good and it runs good.you already have the BBM so id recommend exhaust , bigger cam first up
