hey people i have an xh longreach 4l and it has a persistant miss on take off i've replaced so far
plugs.leads.rotor button.dizzy cap.fuel filter .air filter .and i've put the car into diagnostic mode and set the base timing . and still there is a miss . any ideas? would a dud o2 sensor give that issue? i've unplugged it and it makes no difference the only thing i can think of is a buggered tfi module or compensator shaft for the dizzy

any ideas greatly appriciated

thanks for the ideas guys i took it out for test drive after i posted and re checked the timing the miss is almost gone but it still hesitates for a split second before taking off . it's going alot better than it has been managed to get it to spin in the dry with no worries (it's never done it before) :D

i'm only fixing it up to sell it

gotta buy something more economical

thanks again
