hey people i have an xh longreach 4l and it has a persistant miss on take off i've replaced so far
plugs.leads.rotor button.dizzy cap.fuel filter .air filter .and i've put the car into diagnostic mode and set the base timing . and still there is a miss . any ideas? would a dud o2 sensor give that issue? i've unplugged it and it makes no difference the only thing i can think of is a buggered tfi module or compensator shaft for the dizzy any ideas greatly appriciated azza |

maybe check the intake manifold bolts are tight

thanks for the ideas guys i took it out for test drive after i posted and re checked the timing the miss is almost gone but it still hesitates for a split second before taking off . it's going alot better than it has been managed to get it to spin in the dry with no worries (it's never done it before)
i'm only fixing it up to sell it gotta buy something more economical thanks again |
