for some strange reason my rear brake lights dont want to turn on when i turn the front headlights on, i have checked the bulbs and they are fine, the brake lights work perfect when braking, however they just dont glow up when the headlights are turned on, ie night driving, so it looks like i dont have any rear brake lights on until i brake, then they turn on!

nows theres one for ya!

So you saying your tail lights don't work, only brake lights. Does the front parking lights work without the headlights? The parking light/tail light curcuit usually has its own fuse and is seperate to the headlight fuse. It is possible you have nothing more than a blown fuse.

if your front parkers dont work and your fuses and bulbs are good then ive got money on the switch itself.. i must have been through 6 or 7 or more of these till i decided to make my own :).. check it out.. caused many a problem for me.. with mine the cluster backlighting went out aswell.. just a thought
