What is the diff ratio, close ratio toploader and 3.0:1 is a 100km+ first gear without pulling big revs i.e. less than 5800rpm, been there done that.

My XD is engine less at the moment, it was a (slightly modded) factory 4.9L Fairmont auto, stock drum brake 2.92 open centre, currently it is fitted with a disc brake 2.77 28 spline LSD (ex factory 5.8L LTD)

Indecisive at the moment what I am going to do with it, it needs new paint but it looks good from a few metres away, the body is in top condition, interior is good (bar it is grog bog brown colour), I was going to fit a twin turbo 69 302 Windsor in it, but not sure right now. Money is the issue as always.

im running 3.5 in me diff.....

Ride: Fordrunner 5.0 Turbo

Location: Wollongong

My ride.

XF Ghia.
4.1 Leaded (or should I say LRP these days) injected.

2.25" bodgy built exhaust and extractors (the prick didn't even put any flanges for easy removal. The whole thing is done in one piece)

2.77 LSD which is on its way out.

Enough rust that if I slap the car it all jut falls out the side.

Rego plates RNAMUC

And a lifetimes supply of monoform taxi remould tyres supplied by my good friends down at Wollongong tyres.

Future mods are undecided. Eventually I'll do it up but just not for the next 12 months or so.

I got a gilmer, it is a bit like V8-rice, but I don't f**k! Sounds awesome... especially when the fans kick in, it must do something to the sound waves.
