I'm currently rebuilding the engine in my 65 xp, block all done, new cam, crank and timing gear in, just cleaning up the pistons and need to know how to tell if the gudgeon pins are too worn, i got told if you hold the conrod tightly and try to rock the piston if there is any slight movement, then no good, the piston top slides side to side very freely, a little to easy i think but i don't have any rocking movment, the book tells me jackso how can i tell? really want pistons in soon.
