I don't think they came with them standard. Mine has the saddle interior and it has a white/now cream hood lining. Would look good tho, Great work on the car, shes looking great

Yeah motorvation is the thing we need motorvate. My XC took two years to get to licencing stage and then another three to get where it is today. I havent got too many photos but I bloody love it coz no one but me has laid a spanner on it,let alone driven it for years. Old Fords rock. Especially aussie ones.

You dont need 5slots unless you want the original gs look but some old school style alloys would look sweet maybe some bathurst globes will put the car in its era. As for being bagged about the injected motor, in the late 80's mechanicle injection was a big thing so why not. Good luck with the project and it looks sweet.

I have a XC ute with the injected windsor and I reckon it is far better to drive than when it had the 302 Clevo fitted. It looks like it is all going well. Keep the updates coming as I like to see how projects like this are going! Awesome.

Thanks for the replies.
Couple of shots . Not sure where the intake hose is going yet, but to cold air somehow.
Interior starting to come together.
Lights working now. Looks great of night.
Can notice newer alternator. Bright....

Photo of loom from engine to computer.
Has been finished and sealed since. Slot cut below windscreen washer bottle and aerial hole enlarged to allow loom plug through.
The auto computer loom travells down right hand side.
All fairly well hidden.

Hi , Thanks for the comments.. Was v8 but no moter or box so dont know what it was.... pretty big horsepower I think. ... had rubber stuck to back inner guards.. also drive shaft loop..
Fitting air cleaner today. {rain}
Think have cold air sorted.
Comments Welcome. Understand some may not fancy cutting front panel but to me is a better stelth option. It could easiy be welded back in .. It will provide cold air and make the project more of a success. Only in under coat . will be painted and thinking of a mouth of some sort. " to force the air in"
Cant keep everyone Happy can ya.
Cold air. lighter . stelth.

I had to do a very similar thing to the radiator support panel to get the GOOD air in.

How close is your Air con pump to the shock tower?
