when im reversing my ZL Fairlane, i get this squealing sound from the back of the car somewhere...
i only hear it in reverse, and when the car is moving.
checked tranny fluid, and its got plenty in it - and its pretty clean too

i only noticed it after i took it for a quick spin around the block to make sure the new battery was full.

yeah, only happens in reverse..

Any Ideas as to why?

all help appreciated :)

it sounds the same when im rolling or giving it some gas and braking a lil - right till it stops moving and the sound stops...

i only noticed it the first time coz i let it roll backwards in neutral down the driveway - ie i wasnt giving it gas to hear the exhaust rumble....

Does the ZL have seperate handbrake pads like the E series, if so remove the discs/rotors and blow out the excess brake dust in the brake assembly and refit.
