Hello all,
I've just purchased a EF II Fairmont.I notice when driving around a corner,that the steering wheel wobbles or shakes from side to side.The car has had a wheel alignment and the tyres seem o.k.It also doesn't occur when applying the brakes.Only when turning into a corner
Could it be perhaps a worn tie-rod end or ball joint.Or maybe a problem with the steering rack?
Any comments appreciated.

Had similar in an EL. I had to have the rack replaced at $800 odd and apparently it is common for EL's.

I imagine EF is so similar it might fit you too?

i'd take it to a steering specialest and let him take it for a drive, im sure he could resolve the problem .. sorry cant help ya!
