when i turn the key to start the engine it doesnt make contact so i hit where the steering colum is and it will turn over im just chasing what exactly it is that i need

the body control module could have dry soldered joints inside, its located under the lh side of the dash, above your feet
possibly a problem in the ign barrel or ign switch too or loose plug |

it was the contact between the key and the starter motor the cable wasnt touching its screwed now tho i pulled it too hard have to replace chamber -.-
