Hello,can anyone help me ,I need to change the c/control on-off switch backing plate is broken,I,m unsure if there is a procedure to do this.I,m worried the airbags will go off,also I cant find any screws etc ..HELP...BROWNMAN

With air bag I'm assuming EF onwards.

Disconect the battery, leave it for 10mins.

There are 2 bolts, one on either side of the steering wheel at the back. If its a AU you need a special tool to remove these (5 point torx)

Unplug then remove airbag assembly and diconnect.

Unplug then remove screw holding in Cruise control switches, remove switches & replace with new ones.

Any idea where we can grab some of these buttons, ive somehow managed to loose the front bit of the + and - for the cruise control on the right hand side (dont ask how i have no idea lol)

I picked up a set at a wrecker for $55. EF will fit EL etc, just different colour and markings.
