If no decent E-series come up for sale in the next few months I'll be headed this way too!
Chuck up some pics

Go test drive a couple clean bf's and youl be sold on it :)

This time next year I'll be in the market for a new-used car. All the rattles are wearing thin. I mean, I drove one of the Corolla company cars the other week and I wanted one. I'll probably get a TD ute.

How much trade in did you get for the E-hell, if you don't mind me asking?

Be careful with those Corollas, the 2006-2008 ones are better built. (brother has one)
I drove a 2011 Corolla when the XR6 was in the shop. I created a rattle with the seat belt pillar and also the centre console and only had 6000kms on the clock or so.
Mind you, is only a observation but i did cause rattles. :) Was a hire car.

Oh yeah, I wouldn't want a current model. I drove one as a hire car too and man, that was probably the worst car I've ever driven. Uncomfortable seats, rough suspension, van driving position etc...

Back on topic...

the cars returning about 400km to a tank. but most of its driving is from my house to a mates where i get a lift to work from and its literally a 3 minute drive in the arvo and a 3 minute drive in the morning after work. so i think thats not too bad considering i do also give it more throttle than the average driver
car could well and truly do with a proper polish like uniacidz bombodoor ss but its not exactly the best time of year to be spending any coin on the car, gotta take a loan out just to use the fricken toilet with all the bills i copped early december

Yes, bills. I hate them too. Especially since all the overtime that I did before x-mas I won't see until next year as the admin staff are on holidays.

A good polish is NuPolish once a year.
Don't need anything extreme as car has good paint and should be ok.

My pop was a crazy nazi when it came to his cars, they had to be newer than 3 years old and polished every month. 15 years after he died I found that stuff in his garage, tryed it out on the white car and its a really good polish

Hows that black polish from turtlewax go? Was thinking of using that.

They fit perfectly fine. Talk to SSV (sydney special vehicles). Pretty sure they do the bonnet for $350 delivered.

Hmm 350 delivered? Are they fibreglass or a whole pressed bonnet in one piece?

So all 4 wheels are gutter rashed and 2 wheels leak air about 10psi over a week and a bit, so I will be saving hardcore for rego and tint and some 18 inch dark argents before march.
the bonnet may not happen for another 6 months
decided to try the black turtlewax on the car with some clay bars also, if im.not happy I can easily just go over the car with something else later.

One of my leaky wheels are bloody flat now so I guess its time for a set of dark argents. Bloody annoying because now I have no spare and the cars running an fg xr6 wheel
