so i replaced my brown/ dirty coolant bottle and sensor and flushed out the system and used Nulon coolant, came up a treat while flushing out the system 2 full containers of this crap came out...

Car has gone in for an auto trans service tonight, was not going into gear.
*Hope im not due for a new gearbox/ reco, fingers crossed..

Could be as simple as needing new fluid or the inhibitor switch has failed, pretty common really..

long time no update just brought an el gt steering wheel was in ok condition used a leather dye and gave it a really got leather polish came up looking pretty good. my interior is complete now :)

I painted my manifold gloss black, rocker covers also and polished the manifold 5Litre badge.
While i was doing this i accidentley snapped one of the rocker cover bolts into the heads whoops!!!

So i finally got around to getting my rotors (DBA T2) & brake pads fitted today, so happy they are finally on, havint had a chance to test them out as iam still wearing them in.
Next on the list is SWAY BARS and a new alloy radiator :)

Shipo_1150 I brought the rotors off eBay for about $350 front and rear. (Brand-DBAT2)
Make sure when you buy brake pads that they are suitable for slotted or drilled etc rotors.

Sweet thanks. Are they any better than the standard e series. You cant really go backwards from them

The mechanic said I have to take it easy on the brakes for the first 50- 100kms.
I know it seems expensive ;
brake $350-$400
Pads $100 (approx)
$270 to get it all fitted (I'm a retard don't feel confident changing them)


I'll let you know once they 'wear in' :)

That doesn't seem like a bad price. Iv always used bendix pads their around $80 each. Definitely after something better than the e series rubbish standard
