Ill get a vid once it makes some boost, its doesnt make much sound at all atm.

Here is a photo of the extra pulley they use to help with belt wrap around the blower. You can see it no longer uses the top pulley but the factory tensioner is still used.

Interesting re the non use of the top tensioner pulley.

Do you think the EF/EL belt guard would still fit?

Actually, looking closer at the above photo, I think it would still fit easily as you cant see the the half moon thingy on the rocker cover with it on.

Cheers

i dont think it would fit the belt cover on because the thermostat housings position i noticed that when i chanded from ed to el in my BBM conversion i used the belt cover and relised i had to chande my thermostat housing (the neck part) to clear the cover?

Just a thought

AU's use the same top half of the thermostat housing an EF/EL so i dont see any reason why it wouldnt fit, if the belt is too close just thim the side of the plastic cover to allow a bit more room, well worth it for the stealth look i rekon

My thermostat housing is an au one. It's sits on an adapter plate with a gasket either side so it can face forward. The ea-Ed one points downwards slightly and doesn't clear the belt.

Hopefully it all holds together.
