Haven't got headers yet but I picked up this intake off ebay for $350. The guy dropped it from $650.
It's an Explorer intake off a brand new 220kw crate engine.
btw Ash, the rangie thread is up.

Image

Obviously the engine was modfied by Sam at Tickford...

You can see the slight gasket matching they did. There are scribe lines on it...

and a bit just at the t-body opening...

They didn't do anything here...

Yeah, he kept everything else on it for his t-series that he's doing to concourse condition. That's why there's no bolts or anything with it except the gasket.
Did ya find the rangie thread?

hey Pete,

Have you decided where you are mounting the Hi-6 yet? I've been looking for places to mount mine but can't find many. Also read that if I lengthen the power wire I need to fit a capacitor of some sorts, so finding a place close to the battery is proving difficult.

Manifold looks good, there is a brand new Tickford stroker manifold on eBay at the moment. It's only the trumpet section, missing the top half and base... but still looks good!

Not yet Mason,
I can barely get near it and she drives away.
I'm Going mad with intakes at the moment, just bought Jeffs' 351 GT40 lower for my rangie. So the upper of the Explorer intake may end up on that before the ED get's it
Got a link the intake, seems strange just to sell that bit?

Could you give me any tips on where to mount the hi-6? It says that If I lengthen the power cables, i need to put some kind of resistor in somewhere bridging the earth/power???

Here's the intake, it closed a while back but the guy re-listed it.

Ok now the auto has broken the B1 band(2nd and 4th gone) so it's going to a trans shop next week because I can't find a decent 2nd handy and I certainly can't find any damn T5's to convert it to manual.

Probably not, there is the odd kit over this way. Hell, I've got 2 EB Xr8's that are factory 5speeds, but I won't be parting with the gearbox setups, sorry dude.

Cheers
