With my torana's oil line, i just fit a 2 way adapter to the oil sender hole in the block, then put the sender in one side & the oil feed for the turbo in the other.
I'm trying to remember the oil line on my g/f's tx5 turbo, i think there is a threaded hole in the block you screw the oil line into, but i'm not sure. I'd love to know how the Xr6T is fed for oil. Cheers ToranaGuy

The oil line is fed via a addapter on the oil pressure sensor. You simpy pull the oil pressure sensor out screw the addapter in connect the feed line on then scew the pressure sensor back in. Easy.

That's exactly how i thought it worked. The adapter has holes in it for oil to pass through into the banjo and the sender screws onto the end of that adapter. Thanks for confirming that 'bollocks'. I think this is the part?
 Well, i recieved my exhaust manifold today (thanks to wilbaz on XR6T.com), one part down, many to go.

Yep thats the part, You will also have to drill & tap a hole in the side of the sump for the oil return The mould is already there you just drill it. |

Yeah i noticed the casting mark on the righthand side of the sump, i'll just get it drilled out with lots of grease and tap a couple of bolt holes for the stock drain tube.
Well, the car is off the road temporarily. The power steering decided to blow out an o-ring where the high pressure line attaches to the underside of the pump. Well, actually it's not blown out but it more or less a bit oversize and has a big kink in it from improper installation not done by myself  , lets leave it at that.So hopefully there are going to be a couple of hydraulic shops open tomorrow so i can reduce a few fittings to one to prevent any leaks in the future and to get rid of that god awful swivel joint

those bloody power steering o-rings. I tried to get the right one a while ago. I used a generic one that is too thin and "almost" sealed. It has started leaking again.

It's kinda fallen off the back of a truck, if you catchma drift *wink nudge* It's only done 15,000km's too.So, i'm kinda of happy about this, the rear bumper is getting repaired, the brakes are being replaced on friday and i now have a turbo, it looks as if the car will be staying in the family for a little longer. |

dude. if the turbo fell off the the back of a truck, maybe there will be another one soon!
