haha.... they are a great car for the money James, I'm not really knocking them.

It's just that in the good old days, XR's were a reasonably rare thing on the road and I think it's just a shame that by being such good value and reselling at a higher value than an XT, they've become THE mainstream hire car for a couple of the bigger operations.

There's just billions of them out there....

Having said that, I am eying off an XR50 when I get back to Australia late next year, so who am I to talk.

The FG XR6 just makes such a good value proposition, especially if you find one with a few options on board and with that awesome ZF 6sp.

yer i get what you mean, thats why i HAD to change the appearance a bit. either XR6T rims or 20" Advantis.. if i could choose id buy the bastards!!

other then being arrested xmas night for crossing a median strip and failing to indicate cars going much the same.. changes happening wednesday :)
