Looks like a nice base to start on, mate.
Make sure you treat her well.
Nice to see another EL Ghia owner on the forums.

What are your plans for it?

Wow,
Sounds like you've got it all figured out.
The only problem now is the cash.
We can all mod our cars until they are the best in the country,
but having the money to do so is the difference.

yeah, i'm in a school based apprentership as a fitter and turner so i earn about 400 a week when i'm working there in my 10 day blocks

if i didn't have to pay 1500 for my bike rebuild i'd be buying my mags and tyres today

Ahhh fair enough.
Fitter and Turner at school?
I was going to do that with my mechanic apprenticeship, but realised Id have to stay at school an extra year,
so I decided against it.

why would you have to stay an extra year??

my brother went school based election and finished the same time, and i finish school next year which effectivly takes my first year off my apprentership

Swap the buttons over. There can be incompatibilities between EF and EL climate control parts.

But why do you want black buttons? The Cappa buttons are unique to the EL.

Cheers

cause the dash won't be staying cappa, the facia will be going body color the rest black and the buttons were going black to break it up a little

Makes sense now.

Black will be the best option then.

Nooooooo

All wrong for a Ghia

The factory body moulds are subtle now and provide the perfect balance of bling to compliment the paintwork.
