So, today I investigated my brake shudder that was getting to the point of something sounding loose. Look what I found..

Steering rack nut came loose! 1.5 years and it managed to stay on.
No more brake shudder.

So with a full car load my king springs in the back are too floaty, scraping the chassis rail on bad roads and what not. What springs should i replace them with?

Nice car man, never liked them years ago, now im getting a au fairmont next month hopefully, was going to reply about the car bogging down and the fuel pump causing it, but it already died on ya, my current el wagon is doing the same, had to wack the tank to get it started.

Thanks mate. Yeah you'll want to get a fuel pump asap before you end up stuck somewhere.

No probs and yeah getting a au lsd diff for my ed project, then going to get the fuel pump straight after, just going to be a waiting game, pot luck etc, started straight away today...

But have been there before my first a ford ef fairmont fuel pump died 2 days after owning it, lucky I was only a learner back then though.

After I get the au fairmont might have to have a look at yours in person etc.

Just a picture for some eye candy :D
Selling my 19's so got silver 15" stockies on at the moment, such a nicer ride than the massive rims!
Bar is getting painted this weekend, LSD is very tight considering it has 230,000km on it!

So I got the front bar painted.. Didn't expect so much colour difference but full respray to come.

Just going on a holiday a few months back..

Image

Got a nice intake and painted the rocker cover..

Sold the rims and put it on stockies, sprayed the front passenger guard and attempted rear window tint.. (don't buy ebay tint).
Half way to converting to manual, got everything except J3, Clutch and clutch cable.
Also now have xr front black leather and fairlane ghia rear black leather along with black ghia carpet.
Plenty to come for my baby.

Very nice work so far! The only thing that saddens me is that you got rid of your silvered 19's. Still, well done!
