I am now in the middle of making adjustable feet that screw down on to the concrete to take the weight off the wheels and to make it ( the car ) stable on the Rotisserie.
So, tomorrow, hopefully, it will be finished......then it's start on the drag car.... :D

I didn't get as far as I would've liked today, but I did get to make 4 lift legs for the Rotisserie.
The Foreperson was on hand today.

Here is some pics when I assembled the front disc rotors.

I disassembled them, beadblasted them, set them up in the press, and applied 8 tonnes to hold it together while the Loctite set......so the Wheel studs are pressed in at the same time the 2 halves are pressed together......then cleaned and painted them in 2 Pack.

Finally, it didn't rain today....so I got into the Rotisserie and got it finished.
I have attached the adjustable feet.
As you can see the thread isn't visible...it is 7/8" UNC...just use a 1 & 5/16" socket to screw them down.
Top pic is what the guts look like......the thread doesn't move, the captive nut in the lower leg moves.
Next pic shows one down, and one up.

Top build!
Its nice to see some stuff actually being built and fabricated instead of "what can I scab out of the wreckers".
What sizes SHS are you using for the adjustable legs? I need to do similar for a couple of items on my camp trailer and your setup looks perfect for what I want.

Based on that fact my Mum is the best around!

It's 50mm RHS outside and 40mm RHS for the inside....wall thickness of about 3mm...I think ???
The 7/8" UNC nuts will fit inside the 40mm....just had to grind 2 points off them a little bit.....I drilled 2 x 13mm holes so I could puddle weld the nuts in.

I actually got started on the Valiant today... :D ....didn't take any pics but....just wanted to get it off the ground and to check stuff I did about 15 years ago.....couldn't remember where I was up to.... :| .

Anyway, the tunnel is big enough for the 4sp box.....couldn't remember if it was or not.....and I spent about an hour trying to find my spare 4sp g'box case......and then trying to find several 7/16" UNC bolts n washers.....and the g'box crossmember.....and an extension housing.....oih vey.....to coin a phrase.
I had to run a tap through some holes as they'd been used as nests for Hornets and wasp's.....fuggin pests.....aaaarrrrggghhhh....

I had to make an engine steady to hold the engine up while I construct some engine mounts that won't break.....I'm using urethane front spring eye bushes for a HZJ75 L'Cruiser.
I need to get some heavy walled pipe for the bushes, as well as some steel.

I go back to work on Monday..... ......I had a 4 month break.....I broke my hand.....and it still isn't quite right yet....when I wash my face, my little finger goes up my nose.... ....hurts my nose, and my finger.....can't hold a hammer properly.... :( .....lost over 20kg of crush power in my hand ( tested 50kg on left hand, and only 30kg on my right :( .....I'm righthanded, and it was way stronger than my left).............anyway.....
Pics are coming.
