Yep! The car is soon to have individual throttle bodies. Not a custom setup unfortunately, but instead Scott's ( BrockyB8 ) old set. Hopefully they will get me to my goal with the car ( 200+ rwkw ).

Haha yeah well I figured I was going to get them in the future anyway and it's a waste buying a bigger throttle body and porting the inlet manifold now. Yeah I hope so :D Just trying to chase down some filters at the moment...

Not much to update really, still just waiting on the headers to be ceramic coated then I'll pick the throttle bodies up.

In regards to a filter for them, I was thinking about maybe a plenum with a pod filter? I would prefer individual pods on each trumpet but then I would have to get something made to stop them getting wet and shizz.

Any thoughts?

Just a quick update:

Picked up a few goodies from CVE the other day. Not sure when I'll get them on yet, I have a new project too Honda Odyssey FL350 which I'm picking up this Thursday.

Anyway, haven't been driving the XR very much lately been really busy with work and uni exams. Will be good to get these on once I do, hoping this will get me close to 200rwkw but not sure on the gains from the ITBs.

Finally got around to painting the red stripe on the XR. It turned out to be quite an easy job just time consuming.

So I used:
* One and a half cans of Monza Red paint
* Three rolls of masking tape
* One can on clear coat
* Three newspapers
* Fine sandpaper
* Primer ( Specifically wax and grime stuff to get the autoglym off )

Fairly straight forward. First I taped around the stripe, taped newspaper around that to stop overspray. Sanded it back really well, I then used the primer. I wasn't sure how many coats of the paint I wanted but I wanted it to be fairly thick so decided upon 3 coats of red and then two of clear. However, on the front I did 3 coats of clear just for added protection I guess.
I wanted to get it right the first time so I spend two days making it alright, turned out well I reckon. Heaps better then how faded they where. Just have to see how long they last now....

Haven't had much happening with the XR lately. Finally getting around to getting the bonnet bulge done, just have to decide whether to go for FG without the bonnet flutes or BA and keep the bonnet flutes.
