Take your time and enjoy what you do to the car. There is nothing wrong with spending money on your car as you gain pleasure from it and it shows you CARE about other things too.
Just one thing I didn't really like was that y ou painted the outrigger on the front caliper the same colour, I rather like it with the caliper painted and the outrigger (bracket) left as is or maybe paint the thing with clear-coat? Take a look in my Silver build thread and you will see what I mean. |

I'm not very good with painting things, so I wasn't going to try anything fancy. Painting them how I did was hard enough
This car isn't going anywhere any time soon. There's just something about the BA/BF shape that makes me 'wet myself' when I see them. I just reckon they have such street presence about them Gave her a bath today and whacked on some tire shine. Driving around for a few days to see if I like it with or without the spoiler as well |

I prefer spoilers myself but, that's me.
I wasn't being judgmental just a personal opinion about the Calipers. |

Just read this thread from start to finish and I must say you have done a great Job with this car.
Also it was good to see the chomies didnt stay on the car the new wheels are much better. I like what you have done with the rocker cover and brake calipers. Again Great job |

These mods are still not much to my taste but I will concede, I enjoy the updates & also the fact you are taking great pride in what your doing/doing it yourself. You sir are what a site like it this is all about.

I noticed your trying to sell the XR! Why not turbo that? Would probably cost as much as selling yours and then having to buy a XRT or V8?

Selling this, as the XRT i'm looking at has a bit of work done to it already, and is an 07 MK2 BF.
It is a very regretful sale, but after having a drive of the Turbo today, I just need it haha. Price reduced to $11,500 post1380811.html#p1380811 |

Well, long time no post.... Decided not to sell the car, couldn't bear to part with it......
So, what have I done to her? (If I can remember it all) Cosmetically; I painted all the dash and door spears. I was going to do a carbon wrap, but was getting way to frustrated with trying to get it too work (You will notice only two are painted in these photos, ran out of paint. All of them are done now) With extra paint Thought it would be a good idea to have one of these sitting in the car in the event that I would need to use it one day (hope not) Indicators; Got sick of the LED ones. Thought they started to look a bit tacky, so I replaced them with originals. However, after cutting the original harness off, that was the first thing I needed to try and find. I went to Fraud direct, and they said I would need to get the whole harness for that side of the car (bearing in mind I needed both sides as well). So, off to the wreckers I went. Only had one B series car in the town im in, and thank God I got there quick enough Wanted to spruce up the rear a bit, so got me a Fairy Ghia boot garnish A happy snap of the engine bay Now, the interesting part; Have been wanting to do the FG manifold conversion for a while. And after a complete conversion got sold to someone else (even though I offered more money), I bid on another, and won it Few days ago this rocked up And my splurging from one week (on top of the tool box) Then came maintenance. Got a set of Nolathane Bump stops (Old V New) However, as can be seen they are rather short And I did this today 'cause I got bored. They were looking rather sorry for themselves so no harm done if I don't like them....in the future I mean |

Keep up the good work , hoping to see more mate Thanks mate, she's taken a lot to get here and a lot more to go So, these arrived today And then I started work on them Now go figure the wiring harnesses had to be different. So before I could hook them up, I had to find another new two harnesses. Picture shows the difference And the end result |
