What type of scanner is it? The Snap-on scanner with the Ford software for E series?

if you have a spare $6,000 (roughly) you can get the base model Snap On code reader, otherwise the one with the bells and whistles is only about $15,000. I enquired with our dealer, and promptly agreed not to buy one

The car is running a hundred times better now. It'll sit on 14.7 at closed loop rather than 11.7 as it was before. As I'm doing the tune myself now, it has a fair bit of work to go, but everything is close to where it should be and the rest will be fine-tuning. It's certainly a learning curve!
