Hi all,
I saw an ECU advertised on Ebay - catch code 2DLA. The bloke mentioned it was XR8 manual but he was not a 100% sure. Any ideas on what it could be? Cheers |

Hi All, Long time browser 1st time user.
If we are still compiling; my 4/95 Ef XR8 Manual Sedan (3.23 diff ratio) has the Catch Code: 4DDF. 15/2/95 date on it. Cheers |

Hi,
Just had XR8 ex-chaser ECU (4DKD) put in my EF Fairmont V8 instead of original one (4DEF), can't realy see any power increase but still runs beautifully. I'd say an improvement over standard ECU. Definetely keeping Cheers |

Should get the shift control module that V8's have from a chaser too, much better than stock, mates EF XR8 chaser shifts at 5,800 in auto flat to the floor my NF changes at 4,800!

Hey Guys,
Just a bit more info to add to your lists; Nov '95 EF2(?) Fairmont Ghia V8 Auto 3.45 diff, ECU is 4DEG. I'm currently fitting LPG to it, but from what I can tell after reading most(!) of the posts in this thread, this ECU is already a dual fuel ECU. Can anyone confirm or deny it? I would like to fit a dual fuel ECU and take advantage of the different mapping, but not too worried if I can't. Being a V8 seems to make it rare. Cheers, Paul. |

4DEG is what my series one NF 5lt 3.23 had in it when I got it! works fine with my LPG.

Cheers, Paul. 4deg is a std ef/nf v8 fairmont/fairlane ecu.. its not a factory duel fuel ecu.. |

That's because they didn't make factory LPG v8's! but it still works fine.
