has anyone used a megasquirt in an ea-ed before? i want to run a big a** cam and i know a need a chip/computer but i cant have my car off the road for days on end.

The job is no different to running one in any 4L or 5L falcon. It will work fine.. it just up to you to install and configure correctly, as with any aftermarket, standalone ECU.
