I bought an EL Falcon and on the way home it shat itself......

I check a few things over and it has no spark. Fortunately for me my son also has an EL so that has kinda turned into a test bed for checking parts etc... now items I have checked.

Coil is OK - put in a new one
Dizzy is fine
TFI module is ok - wired dizzy into other car and got spark happening :)
ECU is fine - checked ok and still in other car, so using my sons one

inspected the loom, checked connections all looked ok.

does anyone else have any ideas? has got me stuffed!!!!

s**t I even tried the half an hour thing just in case it was a smartlock thing, still no go.

its LPG only so no injectors, dash lights up all normal.

Fuses have been checked and are all good (checked with multimeter). learnt that lesson with mine during the week.

LPG solenoids not kicking in, come to think of it

Is there a relay or fuse for the LPG side of things???? Check those.
Have you ever drained the oil from the gas convertor???
If its genuine LPG, there should be 2 of 10mm headed drain plugs at the bottom of the convertor, undo those and let the oil out, it will stink.
When theres oil in there, it makes them have a crappy idle.

not factory LPG, but we did get it running. s**t load of WD40 into the main engine connector and put it back together yet again and it fired thank god.

we have had that apart about 4 times checking the loom??? you would have thought that the dam thing would connect properly wouldnt you!!!!
