P platers are not supposed to drive high perf cars but the lad may be a national go kart champion for all we know and if so/or not may be a better driver than any of us.

i come on here asking a question and cop s**t for it? what the f**k with that? I was curious about what mods are done and prices for them, like im gonna turbo an ED at the age of 17. i dont have a high performance car and am not likely to get one anytime soon. most i can afford is a cam and exhaust, simple s**t like that. All i did was ask a question for future refernce and i get s**t from you lot. I know there will be restrictions on p-platers bu as of now there are not. And no its not people like me who give it p-platers a bad name. its the stupid f**k that street race and drink drive without thinking twice. so anyone who just had a go at me, get the f**k back in your box, i didnt do s**t to you.

Teza, wasn't taking the p1ss mate.. it's true, if labor get in, you can't even have extractors without breaking the law..

I was your age a while back, and the coppers loved giving me grief.. had about 4 yellow stickers and other stuff like that.. so I'd not do anything to the motor externally at all.

Then again, if the liberals get in, it's a moot point as the law won't come in.

It's just the way you came across, as if your doing these mods for you first car.
BUT more importantly, in QLD and NSW these restrictions on power for drivers on Ls and Ps are already in effect.
I thought all states had these laws

Nah, Western Austrlia doesnt have these laws yet, but people are pushing to get them in, and if they do, its gonna suck.
And no way would i be doing these mods on my first car after having my p's for like.. 4 months.. its asking for trouble..

I had a Chrysler 4cyl for my P plates..

But I grew up on a 10,000 acre cattle property and had been driving dozers and stuff from a very early age..

still got the old galant up to 160km with 5 other kids in it though.. so I wasn't exactly mr maturity back then either. :-)

Teza this is what happened in your last thread. You don't know what you want, and your decision is based on what we tell you.
You just said before you want to keep up with your bros 5L and you will turbocharge (modify) your car in the next month, now you're saying you wont and agreeing with us that you're an incompetent driver.

Just learn how to drive first, fix the car up.
