Hi,

I am wanting to know if it is possible to run a BA 6 cylinder engine in an EF while running the standard EF ECU, in saying that I mean running EF coil pack and leads etc.

Now I believe we have a chance as I have seen on AFF an AU running a BA motor with the AU ECU with AU leads, coil and injectors and also the top half of the BBM was off the AU including throttle body, also the VCT was disabled via vernier cam gears like these:

I would much rather run the EF ECU as it would make tuning a lot easier via a J3 chip, also the VCT doesn't intrest me at all as I want to run more aggressive cam
