Hey all

As the title states, I'm after a comparison between the ba/bf xr6 and the xr6 turbo

I'm in the market for a new car, these are 2 of my favourite options, I would love an xr6 turbo but I'm worried that most xr6 turbos have been flogged in their lives, an xr6 seems like the safer option, but I can't seem to stop wanting a turbo

I guess I'm after a 'pro and con' type of deal from those that own either one

Cheers guys
Dan...

+1 on the BF options and if you look hard enough, a B series Xr6 is basicly an XT with a body kit & wheels. There is no performance increase other than a speed limiter increase to 220kph from 200. none of which we here encourage you to use on public roads

It's a no-brainer ...go the turbo.

As others have said, post-June 07 and you will have a wicked car.

Now go do it!!!

GO the turbo!!! Ive spent some money on my car and exactly matching a stock turbo now. Look at all the mods ive done (below) just to get 240 KW which is 170 RWKW. Not worth it!! Go for the turbo! I would get one if my lady would let me but she says HELLLLL NOO cause we just paid this one off and all the mods (on my knees begging for a SUPERCHARGER, but still NO!!!!)

You sure the ratio is different? your not refering to the optional LSD?

I painted mine gold Paint came from Cairns to Caringbah as only one they had in stock.

I gained 27kw at the wheel plus 789 style points

get those brake caliper decals ontop of your painted calipers, good for another extra 10 ponies and 67 style points
