hey all my ef is sitting in the carport atm woiting for parts so it can be registered, but the batery keeps dying ever 2-3 days its anoying the crap outa me, i thought it might have been the interior light because that stays on constantly (was also wondering if any one knew something that could fix that) but i have taken out the globe and the battery wont stay charged any advice would be so much apreciated i cant keep going through batterys its driving me insane... oh and iv checked all the door switches and there dosent seem to b anything wrong with them, i would ove it if there was a quick fix and i wouldnt have to fork out money for an electrician. cheers in advanced

pretty sure if you take globe out smart lock disables the car. Sounds like door pin switch may have a short in it.

car still starts with interior globe out, have checked all the pins they seem ok

Door pins switch to earth so one of them may be earthing with the door shut. Isolate (remove them) one at a time and see if the light stays on. If it still does could be the bcm.

yer silliest is right idiot who had it before me put a switch in it he couldnt remember what it was for but i just found out... its so the light stays on instead of diming out... no i have no idea y he did that when there is already the switch next to the headlights... have to wonder about some of the people in this world, thats for all your help guys
