I guess there is not point crying over spilt milk. I am happy for now, as I said, the cars in good nic and i know the exact history from the day when it was bought.

I hope the ex taxi works out alright and good work on the price !!

Yeah but i bet its got bout 1million kays on it tho,

i paid $8,900 for my el fairmont just over a year ago and everone who says they bought thier ef/el for 3,4,5k blah blah bloody hell either these cars are straight from the wreckers or i got ripped!

well there are good buys and there are good buys, I dont mind the xcabs. They are cheap reliable, alot better than some of the crap you can buy for the same money and if you have to replace an engine you are still in front, I have 3 xcabs in our family now and all of them run well, reliable etc.... but thats ok you can buy your low kay cars, just leaves more xcabs for those people in the know....

most owner drivers of their cars look after their them, its their livlyhood thats at stake. Car not running on the road = no money coming in. I know my cars history.... it was a cab..... worked hard 24/7 and as you are probably aware most private cars arent very well looked after unless you are some kind of car freak...

$8,900 is a fair price for an EL Fairmont with low kays from a car yard and if it has books full service history is a fair price, I hope that it brings you many years of faithful service, as I know my xcabs will too.
