In a quest to fix my ongoing starting problem RE: ford-4l-and-6-cylinder-f1/car-simply-refuses-to-start-help-t92141.html

I'm considering replacing a few bits and pieces these holidays. One of these things is the injectors.

I replaced the injectors not long ago with a set of reconditioned ones off ebay and they've been worse than the noisy ticking ones I had before... dirty connectors, ticking noise etc...

So I'm considering a new set of injectors... not reconditioned!

There's two sets of ebay for the same price $198 + postage...

any reason to pick one over the other? I like the Siemens ones... funky colour :-P

Alternatively... anyone know where to get them cheaper?

Also... I'm fairly sure these will physically fit... but any reason not to use AU injectors? In particular; these V8 ones?

the plugs are different so if you were to use them you need to make up adapters or cut and splice plugs onto your loom..

but a set of 6 cyl au injectors will fit no problems..

mongoose I'm about to put a set of AU injectors that I had in my ED on ebay. They were on the car for about 2 months. I bought them from Repco. Asking around $120 which includes postage

Cheers guys. Ideally, a set of AU injectors is what I'd be after. I've heard they are better all round when compared to EF/EL ones.
