anyone know what the compression should be?
compression test results:

cylinder in PSI:
1 270
2 280
3 260
4 270
5 0 (lol)
6 260

have poured some oil down the bore and nothing still.
checked the valves, cant see anything wrong with them, but its not pushing any air out the spark plug hole at all.

i still would have though this wouldnt stop the car from starting at all, so must be some other issues elsewhere as well.

the compression test was done cold, with no oil.
i then poured oil in number 5 and yeah didnt improve.

i was going to try trouble shoot it more, but figured even if i get it running, its still got a f**k valve lol

so just pulled the head off, and sure enough number 5 valve is sticking out a bit.
will take some pics in a sec.

i have a map sensor to swap over and will have to find an ECU during the week.
havent really heard of the ECU carking it and i also tested it with a multi meter, but that wont tell me if the ecu isnt doing what its supposed to.

this gives me a good excuse to put the EF XR6 head on haha.

the only thing i habvent replaced is the ECU and the relays.
but the relays are all working cause i tested them, and if they werent working it wouldnt get spark or fuel.

so ill change the head and the ECU next weekend and hope to god it starts!

yeah it is sadly lol.
i checked it against the gasket and it wasnt too bad.
ill get it repaired if possible and its having 50 thou taken off it also, so that will take it back a bit also.

the last head i pulled off this car was much worse and didnt have any problems with that lol

i thinkkk around 10:1 cant remember lol

i wanna get the head shop to measure how much has been taken off it first to make sure i dont take too much off. looks like its already been shaved a few times.

but have been toying with whacking a turbo on instead of going for the high comp
