OK I Have A TE Cortina. I want to run a EF Six. Four Barrell Carb XF Dizzy Etc. What is the most common Cam and internal Specs used to get some good horse power out of these engines with a Carby or is it easier to run it as Intendedd with a ECU

If it was me I would run it with a Megasquirt ECU, But I have a mate who plans to run an EF I6 on straight LPG and an XF dizzy with no ecu.

If your running without the restrictions of an ecu i would just go the biggest f**k off cam i could find then build around that.

Are you running an Aussie Speed manifold?

Cheers
Ben

I don't see why you wouldn't go EFI. Megasquirt will do the job VERY well at little to no cost, or if you can't be bothered with open source, then try EMS8860. You can do EVERYTHING you want with that.

Is this an off road car or a car you intend keeping road registered? If its a street car then injected or straight LPG would be the only way to go. For an off road vehicle such as drag or speedway then Triple Webbers Baby or a decent 4bbl Holley and something along the lines of a CMS stage 5 cam (if such a monstrous item is in existence).
