Engineers probably deemed 2 or 3 2 gauge earth straps across the car would be required.

Accountants most likely deemed these guys were stupid and said 1 8 gauge was enough. :twisted:

EL was the beginning of the Ford cost cutting era. Only gets worse from then on.

The AUs have a short strap that goes from the block to the chassis, where the strap from the battery to block bolts on.

Too easy will add one tomorrow, got a spare earth lead(battery-->block) of my EF parts car. So i will just use that one, go from the block to the strut tower..
