You could try an EF/EL frame and mounts :)

are you using genuine ford mounts or supercheap s**t?
if supercheap you get what you paid for.
make sure you replace all at once, including gearbox

My exhaust side mount went about 6 months ago,, replaced them all with new ford mounts and havent had a problem

Ive got the same problem. Ive figured this out... Repco engine mounts ($26) last about 20% longer than supercheap($25). Driving with one snapped leaves dents in bonnet($lots)( ), and replacing them with the engine and inlet manifold in($priceless) is just horrible, and should be punishment to those who drive the whores.

Genuine ford would be a good idea... but the hydraulic ones from a wrecker or something would be a better bet. Don't forget the bracket.. Ill be doing that soon... after I fix all the other s**t

Good luck.

They came on EFs, or was it ELs... lol, can't remember... you can tell when you see one.. Don't buy a new one of these from ford... lol. ($100+ each AFAIK).

Cheers

You can now get urethane engine mounts, they cost about 1 1/2 times more than rubber. Any decent parts shop should have them.

Im about to list GOOD aftermarket engine mounts in ALTEDPERFORMANCE thread

EF/EL won't fit into a EA-ED (from memory) .. unless you change the frame as waggin said .

had to change back to the ea-ed ones when i put the EF motor into my car.
