Hey, I have a Ef Ford Gli. I Have hooked up a air/fuel gauge to it..... What colour wire do i tap into on the oxygen sensor???
I have it all hooked up and dont want to tap into any wiring untill i know which color to splice into???
Can anybody help me?????????
no one seems to b able to tell me

did you get a wide or narrow band afr gauge?

They run a narrow band o2 sensor so unless you got a narrowband o2 gauge you won't get far. Even then, they aren't the best so i've heard.

as for which wire, theres only 2 to choose from, guessing 1 is positive and the other is negative.

Hey gaz, Its a 3 wire sensor, as for the gauge im unsure of what type it is.
Ive attached the link to show you what type of gauge it is
But my existing sensor is a 3 wire sensor

Yep ok, its a narrow band gauge so it will work with the standard sensor.

sorry my bad, the stock sensor may be 3 wire - haven't checked in a while. I haven't got my workshop manual on me atm so I couldn't tell you what wire, someone else may be able to, alternatively if you have a multimeter then you can go probing for the right wire

Whats the advantage of wideband over narrowband o2 sensor?

edit: nevermind found out why.
