Hi all, I did try a search but I never seem to find what I look for when other people do, I must be a bit special when it comes to it but yeah sorry if this has been asnwered before.

Was just making sure a manual conversion I pulled from an EF XR6 will fit into and run in an auto EL, all that would have to be changed is a the ECU as el dont use coil pack etc, is the only loom that would need to be changed be the one from the gearbox to the engine bay and is that loom from the ef box suitable to connect up to the el loom or does it need to be from an el manual conversion?

Hope what I am asking is clear, and once again sorry if the question has been answered before.

All the mechanical components from the EF will fit fine in an EL.

As you have indicated, you can't use the EF ECU due to the EF coil pack ignition system, and the EF ECU has a different pinout count etc.

Yeah sweet, just making sure it would all bolt up and run, mainly the wiring from the box to the engine bay, will the EF loom from the box to the engine bay connect up fine to the EL engine bay loom?
