no problems at all with roadworthy

The problem isn't roadworthy it is whether he can drive the car. A P plater can take a supercharged v8 and have it pass roadworthy, but still not legal for them to drive it.

In your case get a 2.5 inch exhaust from ur stock cat converter. ( including cat converter)
An ss growler, power bond underdrive, then a custom tune. All this will set u back about 3300..
Installed...
You'll be pushing around 175 rwkw.

Essentially is spins your accessories slower, drawing less power.

This isn't entirely correct though, depending on the set up some still spin certain accessories at the same speed.

I don't think anyone makes them off the shelf for SOHC engines.

The stock crankshaft is overdriven making all accessories work at there peak.
So under driving it 20% just makes them work enough to still operate.
Only difference I have noticed is steering is a bit harder only when parking for example.

Great throttle response. It's a must have.

Extractors aren't illegal in qld.... I had a set on my ef when it was n/a and have been pulled over by cops numerous times when I was on my p's and they even looked under the bonnet once. Also had a pod filter not in a box. They didn't defect me for anything..... Qld police are pretty lenient anyways, not like nsw and vic ones.
And yeh the BA might have 180kw stock but that's at the flywheel. Rear wheel kw will be less due to loss of power through drivetrain and doubt you'll make more than 200kw atw n/a without some serious headwork and a tune. And cops won't test the power of your car anyway they would go by stock specifications. Only if it was turbo or supercharged that they would say it was too powerful for a p plater. I wouldn't worry if I was you mate....
