It would hammer, but there wouldn't be that many engine bays long enough to fit the engine in.

i6 = 167kw stock

Gen3 = 310kw stock

You do the math.

i rekon even a e-series 157kw with good gearing would hammer in a 700kg car. def capable of a 14 sec run.
but then again a xr6t 240kw i6 would be an ultimate beast...
so, who wants to invest on fitting a i6 into my focus???
any takers?

Maybe if he used punctuation then we wouldn't miss what he's trying to say.

Even a Falcon engine is too powerful.. a lot of cars like westfields and so forth use 4 cylinder engines out of a Corolla or Focus and they fly.

How about a turbo 2 litre Cosworth twin cam with a Sierra 5 speed in a fibreglass kit car? I reckon that'd kick some serious butt.

The trouble with the I6 is its just too big and heavy for a little kit car, good chance of it ruining weight distribution and handling too.. any decent 4 cylinder motor will give it a good kick in the pants and if you still want to go faster forced induction makes a lot of sense.
