Just today whenever I put the clutch in or back off the accelerator then whole car sorta shakes and I can hear a grinding noise. It doesnt do it below 70 or so. Also after it makes the sound if I pull up to a stop with the clutch in I can hear this knocking sound. My brother said it might be a bearing or something. Any ideas?

does it squeel?

sounds like the thrust bearing, but usually they make a noise when at idle with the clutch 'slightly' in too not always ALL the way.

Not so much a squeel. My brother did mention something about a thrust bearing. Its more of a grinding noise then a squeel.

I only put the 5 speed in about a month ago so the clutch is new still. How much of a job and $$$ is it going to cost to replace the spigot bearing and thrust bearing?

Get under your car, and wiggle, try and turn the tail shaft, give the centre one a good shaking,
