all depends on who does your tune and if its to suit the way you drive as for the program i got a burner to accually program the j3 chip to what ever i need at the time as i have about 4-5 saved BIN files but car will do a high 13 very low 14 second pass on street tires i think that you have to look at the way you build the motor to achieve the power you want and only thing im thinking i should have done in the rebuild was forged pistons for a later down the track turbo mod

Get out to willowbank and run the times dude! that puts you up there as one of the fastest N/A6 E-Series around if you aren't speaking s**t.

whats hard to believe about a 14.0 sec 1/4 and 165rwkw....I dont doubt the guy hes done everything the right way and posted good but not unrealistic numbers

Whats hard to beleive? The fact that he said it can do those times, after being timed with a fukking stopwatch!!!!!!!

times i have run are with a 20kph roll on but its been dynoed and repeatedly done same power every time but im a little far to go to willowbank as im about 1200k from it and ive been to mackay to get the dyno ill try to get to the test and tune nights at palmarra in mackay to see how it goes at the strip if i can

Try Launching from a standing start! a 20km/h rolling start fukks 1/4 times majorly dude!

you can't guess a 1/4 time. Not without knowing more about the car, like weight, and flywheel power. Also, your odometer will be at a guess 3% fast, so thats 12m, so your 404m is actually 388m (yes 404-12 is 392, but your going 400m by the odo ticking over)

Rolling start for a 1/4 run is cheating!!! I'm sure I could get a much faster time by just planting mine at 20kmhr too!

even at 20kph i can get wheel spin but fron a standing start it stalls up and then when i plant it all it wants to do is break traction maybe need a set of 18's to get a little more grip

What tyres are you running? with 205s and an LSD I can spin both at 20kmhr, but with 245s it grips, most of the time.

well my tunner is very good at his work i am yet to meet someone thats had work done by him and wasnt happy, and noramly he is very cheap.

im still going to ask him monday what exactly is being done because even i thought 1300 is a fair amount.

but if it gets me 165rwkw from 150rwkw i think its worth it

get a dyno sheet with air temp and intake temp on it. Also, is the car strapped down properly? 165rwkw is alot for an auto E-Series 6.

Also, don't trust anyone who gives a power figure before the work has even been done, because they will fudge the dyno reading to make it seem like you got the power they said.
