Ingredients:
1 Hammer
1 Screwdriver

Method:
Use hammer to bang holes in exhaust with screwdriver. Repeat if necessary.

just cut out one of the mufflers and weld a piece of steel pipe where the muffler was. :P i did that to my car ind it made a pretty noticable difference in sound :)

pretty sure it is :) as long as you dont take out the cat converter coz if u get caught without one its a $20,000 fine.

My Falcon had 3 mufflers anyway :P now it has 2....soon to have 1 :D

Cut out all mufflers after the cat and install a hot dog 3inches from the tail pipe.

Nothing illegal about it.
No different to getting an exhaust with only 1 muffler.
That's your best bet.
A mate of mine got the rear muffler in his BA XT cut out, and a piece of pipe welded in.
Improved the note ten-fold.

get a hot dog and a canon (hey it gives a loud note) or too hot dogs they are leagel this muffler bloke was telling me as long as you have resonators and that

In all seriousness, if you remove the front and rear resonator, but leave the large centre muffler I am sure you'd get a decent note out of the stock exhaust.
